One more crochet-related thing

AC Moore is selling actual sock yarn! I guess I should say that some of the mass yarn producers (Lion Brand and Paton’s and even Red Heart) are finally making real sock yarn and AC Moore is actually carrying it. Patons has a decent Kroy Sock Yarn and a Stretch Socks, Lion Brand has a new Sock-Ease, and Red Heart has Heart & Sole. Anyway, up to this point, they pretty much had no sock yarn at all, save Lion Brand’s Magic Stripes, which was unimpressive in my opinion. I haven’t succumbed to buying any of the new stuff yet, but I’m very tempted (now to remember how to make crocheted socks and learn that damn heel thing…).
